The place where I'm staying right now are filled with graduates but some of them still live the life of a villager. Sometimes they don't even bother to turn off the tap resulting in major water wastage. I had pasted a paper to turn off the tap properly but as I was saying they can't read-still illiterate. Because the water is not turned off properly the water in the tank gets empty faster and later these girls complain. I agree that the landlady don't pump enough water in the tank at times. Still we are at fault cos the water is constantly running and we don't close the tap properly. So today I thought verbally telling them would be better cos "they can't read obviously". The main culprit was kinda embarrased (or was it indifference?) so she couldn't look me straight in the eye. I hope they wouldn't do it next time. If they are blind enough to not see the paper they should at least hear it out lest I'll think of them as poor souls who have neither eyes to see nor ears to hear.
