One spoilt apple spoils the whole bunch

Today morning I got a call from a lady who's working for the handicapped children. At first she was very nice asking about sponsorship and all that but when I told her that I was a student she without a word hung up.
I was wondering whether she was really fit for that kind of job. It requires patience and of course humility not to forget etiquette especially when you're asking something to someone. Maybe the customer would be helpless in terms of financial assistance (read student) but you never know what he/she can do.

I remember once when someone asked me to state bad things about an NGO and try as I might I could never come up with one cos I always thought they worked for the benefit of good. But now I'm doubting that. Is it for money? Is it really genuinely working for the cause? Surely based on one bad experience I wouldn't generalize to all other NGO's but now I can come up with some of the negative things about NGO the next time someone ask me about it.

The Crossing:Korean Movie

The Crossing is one of the best movies which I have ever seen and as always Korean movies do know how to squeeze every tear out of your eyes.

The movie was more emotional as it is based on a true story about a father who went to china to buy medicine for his sick wife and the difficulties that the family faced. The journey of the son in search of the father was tear jerking.

I've learnt at least one thing and that is to shut my mouth cos I've been complaining too much and wanting so many things in life when in fact there are so many people like them esp.the refugees who don't even get to eat a morsel of food and live in the most deplorable situation, unfit for any living being.

I do hope people would watch this movie. By the way I'm crying and typing at the same time :)

An educated person, sometimes, is no less than an uneducated one

The place where I'm staying right now are filled with graduates but some of them still live the life of a villager. Sometimes they don't even bother to turn off the tap resulting in major water wastage. I had pasted a paper to turn off the tap properly but as I was saying they can't read-still illiterate. Because the water is not turned off properly the water in the tank gets empty faster and later these girls complain. I agree that the landlady don't pump enough water in the tank at times. Still we are at fault cos the water is constantly running and we don't close the tap properly.

So today I thought verbally telling them would be better cos "they can't read obviously". The main culprit was kinda embarrased (or was it indifference?) so she couldn't look me straight in the eye. I hope they wouldn't do it next time. If they are blind enough to not see the paper they should at least hear it out lest I'll think of them as poor souls who have neither eyes to see nor ears to hear.

Yay I'm getting older.

Wow today I got older by 1 year and boy do I feel mature.lol. I don't think so! But I thank God today for taking care of me till this day and I hope that from today I would try to act as an adult for a change and be responsible cos I know I have been child like for too long now. High time for me to grow up.

My God! Did I sound so mature? I think I did;)

I'm amazed everyday how the quotations always have implications for me. I can definitely see rainbows today. Now i'm wondering about tomorrow. Just kidding! Whatever it might be I'll try to get through it again like I did today :)

Is it true that when you're too happy one day the next day you cry?

I always used to think that whenever I happen to be really happy my next thought would be "now am i gonna cry after sometime?" and I used to be so dreadful that I would stop trying to really have fun. I know its silly of me but then it does happen often than not.

But somehow I do know that just as there are rainbows after rain, dawn after night I guess it'll pass away too. I guess it's cyclical. Hmmm I'm now wondering whether I would have a nice day tomorrow cos I had a bad day today. Oops there I go again with my silly thoughts! Better rest and try to watch some nice movies now.

CJ7

This chinese movie CJ7 is one of the best cute alien movie i've ever seen. I laughed, I cried and I loved it. The kid was a real laugh and ofcourse need I say more of Stephen Chow. I've liked him so much in Kungfu Hustle. I wanna see more of his movies and though he's kinda getting old now I still like him.

A man's best friend

Just watched "marley and me" and since I really love dogs i really enjoyed the movie throughout. Owen is still my favorite actor and Aniston is also great in the movie. But i didn't think they have the chemistry. What i really loved was the dog. He's so destructive but you can't help but fall in love with him. What Owen said at the end was so true "A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor,clever or dull, stupid or smart. Give them your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about. How many people can make you feel rare, pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary." At the end of the movie I was trying hard not to cry but I already cried a bucket. Overall I think its a great family movie.

the temperature is killing me

Look at those mouth watering ice creams. Its become so hot here that I'm about to melt. It would be good if it melts off my fats but that's something which will happen when it snows here. Never!
Somebody pleaase be kind enough to buy me buckets of ice cream: that way I won't have to feel guilty cos I'll reason myself that it would be rude to say no if somebody gives it to me rather than me buying one and regretting later.lol. That makes sense? NO

New moon

wow i just finished reading the book "new moon" and i was completely hooked to the book. i had to finish it. everytime i read the book robert aka edward's face just pop up every second. hope this obsession with him dies down fast cos i'm like really really into him now-and ofcourse with the millions of girl fans out there. how i envy kristen!
first i was obsessed with harry potter and the lord of the rings and now this. gonna finish the other books as well.

TWILIGHT

Man look at him. He took my breath away last night. ha ha ha not in that sense. I mean I watched the movie Twilight and he's so damn good at what he does. I just fell flat for him. I guess i liked his character more than his face but he really is handsome. I thought i had seen his face somewhere and so after watching it i googled him and ya he was cedric diggory. How could i have possibly forgotten that it was him. I mean c'mon Harry Potter is my all time fav book and movie. I know that just makes me sound weird considering my age.

It was said that around 30000 people aditioned for the role. The casting crews really did a good job. Bravo!lol

Now I'm gonna start to keep track of that Guy's films. Be mine "Robert Pattinson"!ha ha ha. Yup I'm weird.

hate the viruses

ever since i got internet connection my head is filled with virus-i mean my laptop.damn! i heard from a friend of mine that these virus softwares only create virus so that we would buy their pruducts to remove them.wow the sense of business hood is really something. wonder when i'll learn that.
my sister hates my obsession with playing games but i dnon't wanna give up on that cos it really is great. i know this great website to download many amazing games for free. before i only used to download the games from other sites where i get to play for an hour and after that i'll have to pay up for the game.
ya i got sidetracked talking about games. these viruses completely disabled my task manager/folder options/disappearance of my desktop wallpaper/ and the lists goes on.i have managed to enable the task manager and forlder options through googling and thank you google.lol
gotta be careful with the downloading stuffs!
